Chris Cash

We're excited to welcome Chris Cash to the South on Main stage on Friday, March 23. Show begins at 9 pm with a $7 cover. Call ahead to reserve a table - (501) 244-9660.

Christopher Key Cash uses a blend of alternative, rock and high-energy stage presence to entertain crowds. Using a loop station, he creates beautiful harmonies and percussive rhythm that gets everyone’s feet tapping. He has been a touring musician for over 15 years with various projects and played Red Rocks, Mishawaka Amphitheater, and Daytrotter. Most recently he opened up for Iron & Wine and Nathaniel Ratliff & the Night Sweats with the band Edison.

The rest of the band is formed of seasoned musicians. Taran Ware is the do-it-all captain that can play any genre and helps Chris keep the crowd entertained. He played drums for local Little Rock band Das Gift. Justin Jones has played guitar for over 20 years and toured with the Kicks alongside OK Go, the Donnas, Reel Big Fish, the Starting Line and other punk/ska bands. His stage presence is second to none and has even been seen jamming/jumping on a fitness trampoline for entire songs. He and Cash are cousins. Matthew Duckworth holds down the five-string bass and has played with Chris in multiple projects since 2000 that opened for bands like Switchfoot. Duck was one of Chris’ earliest musical mentors - along with Justin - and taught him a lot of about music theory, business and touring. Richard Corbyn was a member of the Razorback Band and brings his smooth trumpet skills. Bradley Hunter Heard takes care of the backup vocals and keys. With incredible range, he is able to bring in a tenor touch for juicy voice blending.
